Ancient Extraterrestrial Alien Astronauts
What are ancient alien extraterrestrial
astronauts as theorized by best selling
author Erich von Daniken?
In 1968, a radical author named Erich
von Daniken started an intense craze
amongst believers of aliens extraterrestrials
based on a book von Daniken wrote called
Chariots of the gods? In his book, von
Daniken theorized that there is evidence
from the distant past that extraterrestrials
aliens have been visiting Earth for thousands
of years.
Von Daniken believes these extraterrestrials
aliens descended from the skies and were
welcomed by primitive Humans as the true gods.
These extraterrestrial alien visitors are
called ancient astronauts. As evidence for
this theory, von Daniken claims cave paintings,
pictures on various pyramids around the world
and other kinds of art work depict the alien
extraterrestrial gods visiting Humans early
in the recorded history of Mankind.
However, from the beginning of the initial
publishing of the Chariots of the gods?, modern
mainstream scientists have dismissed von
Daniken's claims. These scientists claim von
Daniken is misrepresenting what the creations
of early Humans are actually depicting in their
art work and drawings. Most scientists believe
the first Humans were most likely honoring
their own gods or religious beliefs and not
extraterrestrial alien visitors.
Forty years later, von Daniken still claims
his theories about ancient extraterrestrial alien
astronauts will somehow eventually be proven true.
In fact, von Daniken warns we must prepare for the
shock of the gods because the extraterrestrials
aliens could make themselves visible at any given
moment. The world is not ready for open contact
with a godlike extraterrestrial alien empire. It
really would be a shocking event beyond our
ability to comprehend.
